Care instructions

Shared care instructions and guidelines promote a unified and high quality in all units where cancer patients are treated. Instructions and guidelines are available for health care professionals on the web page Hoito-ohjeet.fi and on the shared intranet pages FICANintraSITES of the Cancer Centre. These pages are available for employees of the Tyks Hospital, the Satasairaala hospitals and the Vaasa Central Hospital.

Courses and education

Continuous education is important for the development and for upholding the professional expertise of employees working with the care of cancer patients.

Clinical nursing teachers (in Finnish, Varha.fi) work at wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland to support the guidance of social and health care students.
