Arriving to T-hospital

There are about 600 parking places in the Tyks Main Hospital area to patients and visitors in

• three multi-storey car parks
• open car parks on the Hospital Hill
• around A-, U- and T-hospitals.

There are parking places also along Kiinamyllynkatu, which are subject to charge on workdays.

Parking fees and payment

Parking fees on all places are 2 €/hour and 10 €/24 hours.

You can pay with

• coins
• common debit and credit cards
• EasyPark or ParkMan application. 

Parking is operated by the Aimo Park Finland Oy. Customer service, tel. +358 207 812 442.

Aimo Park controls the parking areas of the Tyks Hospital and issue and collect a parking fine of 40 euros if a vehicle has been parked wrong or inappropriately. 

How to drive to multi-storey car park 1 (building nr 23)

Drive in to the hospital area from the street Savitehtaankatu, turn left and drive in to the car park. Parking bays for customers are in the lowest P1 floor. There are also more customer places on level P2.

How to drive to multi-storey car park 2 (building nr 17)

Drive in to the hospital area from the street Kiinamyllynkatu, drive straight up on the hill between U-Hospital and PET-Centre and continue to the car park. Use the right-hand ramp and drive to the lowest P1 floor, which is partially reserved for customer parking. Customer places are marked with traffic signs.

You can also drive to the car park from the street Savitehtaankatu, between T-hospital and the Lighthouse hospital.

How to drive to multi-storey car park 3 (building nr 16)

Drive in to the hospital area from the street Kiinamyllynkatu, drive gently right and up to the car park. The parking garage has three floors reserved for personnel parking. The roof platform of the parking building is reserved for customer parking.

Long-distance buses

The hospital is less than two kilometres away from the Turku bus station.

Express lines from Helsinki stop at the intersection of Uudenmaankatu and Itäinen pitkäkatu. From there it is approximately one kilometre to the hospital.

Trains

The Kupittaa station is about 500 metres away from the hospital.

Taxi stand is located in front of the main entrance to T-hospital. You can ask our staff to call a taxi to the hospital doors.

The location of the units can be given with two letters and a number (for example TD4). The first letter indicates the hospital, the second indicates the wing of the hospital and the number indicates the floor. For example TD4 means that the unit is located in T-hospital, in D-wing and in the 4th floor.
