Access to treatment

Information about access to treatment, i.e. the waiting times, are reported to the Institute for Health and Welfare three times a year: 30 April, 31 August and 31 December.

The actual waiting times within the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland vary depending on the specialty. The criteria for access to treatment are the same throughout the country. The criteria are published by the Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
