Phone, Social worker: 050 413 7131We provide consultation and office services for patients with complex problems in the field of internal medicine. We analyse the patient’s situation holistically and create a plan to examine and treat the patient.
The patients are referred to the outpatient clinic from hospitals, health care centers, occupational health care physicians and private physicians.
Many different symptoms and findings, e.g., inadvertent weight loss and anaemia, require often assessment by a specialist in internal medicine.
There are two physicians and two nurses at the outpatient clinic. We pursue close collaboration with many medical specialties and with primary health care units. We also train students in medicine and nursing as well as physicians in training.
Our clinic resides in the Turku University Hospital under the Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic of Operational division of Medicine.
