We treat under 16-year-old patients with problems and diseases related to genito-urinary organs, gastro-intestinal tract, and also patients with craniosynostoses, thoracic deformities and anomalies, and patients requiring treatment for scars.

You need a doctor's referral to be admitted.

Investigations such as uroflowmetry, residual urine measurement, and urodynamic studies are often performed prior to doctor's appointment. Parents are requested to fill in bladder and bowel diaries prior to the appointment if deemed necessary. Guidance on challenges related to bladder and bowel function are provided by urotherapist and families may be trained to perform clean intermittent catheterization. If necessary, other professional members of our multidisciplinary team may also attend the appointment. Also, laboratory and imaging studies might be part of the outpatient visit.

We want to provide uninterrupted appointments for all families. Hence, outside dedicated telephone hours, we ask you kindly to contact our secretary, or in urgent issues, paediatric emergency department.

We are a part of Tyks Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
