Eye Disorders Outpatient Clinic, Uusikaupunki

At the outpatient clinic, we perform visual field examinations and fundus examinations. In addition, vitreous injections are administered in our hospital to treat various eye diseases. Cataract surgeries are also performed in our surgery unit.

We admit patients:

• by a doctor's referral
• to scheduled check-up visits
• as consultations from inpatient wards or other outpatient clinics.

When you come to the eye disorder outpatient clinic, bring your glasses and your prescription or optician's card with you. Also bring a list of medications you are taking, especially eye medications. Be prepared for the fact that after the examinations you may not be able to drive a car for a few hours.
