Radiology appointments (X-ray)

You can schedule your appointment yourself, if the treating ward has not given you an appointment.

Do notice that you need a doctor's referral for examinations.

Schedule appointments online

If you have a referral from health care centre, you can schedule appointment online through Suomi.fi service. If you have been prescribed multiple X-rays, you will need to schedule as many appointments as there are examinations. You can schedule appointments for:

  • bone and lung x-ray
  • dental imaging and
  • dental cone examinations.

Schedule appointments by telephone

Appointment cancellation or rescheduling

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact the ward that has given you the referral. In acute cases of disease please contact also the imaging centre to cancel your appointment.

Unused and not cancelled expensive examinations are subject to a 51.50€ fee for outpatients over 15 years old.
